Responsibilities

  • Provide sales and marketing support and coordination of programs and promotions for the millwork business. 
  • Monitor and track product sales, gross profit, product mix, promotional events, growth, and call planning. 
  • Assist in developing and communicating strategic team goals that maximize profit in sales territory. 
  • Provide information systems support, maintain current product information, price list, and bill of materials in system. 
  • Serve as a liaison with vendors, sales representatives and customers ensuring timely and accurate data in systems. 
  • Assist and collaborate with the inside sales team with customer sales calls and provide quotes. 
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products. 
  • Analyze new business opportunities, implement and coordinate merchandising, updating customers on new and existing products, promotions, and services. 
  • Provide training to customers, Boise Cascade staff, and vendors. 
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications 

Basic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion.  

Preferred Qualifications: Broad knowledge of business administration, marketing, or procurement management a plus. May require professional certification. Effective communication skills required.
