What’s the scope of this role?
- Working closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to capture business requirements
- Developing and managing data-migration requirements, data mappings, transformation rules and detailed migration design specifications across all source and target systems
- Assisting Development and Quality Assurance teams and clarifying requirements on day to day basis
- Participating in project planning activities together with project managers, solution architects and technical managers
- Communicating with internal product teams to identify possible out of the box solutions and best practices
What skills and experience will you need for this role?
- A higher degree in IT, Telecommunications or related areas (Preferably a Master's Degree)
- Knowledge of ETL approaches
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies
- Experience with at least one relational database (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Fluent English – both written and verbal
- Familiarity with Agile (SCRUM) methodology and Waterfall delivery models
What other skills and/or experience could be useful for this position?
- Experience with data migration projects
- Experience with object notation formats, such as JSON, and XML
- Familiarity with the BABOK principles and practices
- Knowledge of TMForum/3GPP/ ETSI standards
- Telecom experience
