About the Client

A major Brazilian financial institution specializing in investment banking, wealth management, and corporate lending. The customer develops secure digital banking platforms and financial solutions to serve a diverse global client base.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native microservices using Java and Quarkus
  • Build and support event-driven architectures leveraging technologies such as Kafka, SQS, and RabbitMQ
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure application quality
  • Design and optimize solutions using relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS
  • Leverage AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and ECS
  • Implement observability practices to improve system reliability and performance
  • Design scalable solutions utilizing concepts such as auto-scaling, load balancing, clustering, and disaster recovery
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
What You Bring
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Quarkus for developing scalable, cloud-native microservices
  • Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures using Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience working with containerized environments including Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS
  • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and ECS
  • Understanding of observability practices and monitoring strategies
  • Solid understanding of scalability concepts including auto-scaling, load balancing, clustering, and disaster recovery
  • Familiarity with software engineering principles such as SOLID, Clean Code, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to writing maintainable code
  • Experience working in Agile development environments

  • Experience with other cloud providers such as Azure or GCP
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python, Kotlin, or Golang
