About Project:

We are looking for Mid Software Developers to join a project delivered for our international client operating in the digital payments and financial technology sector. The client develops modern payment platforms supporting business-critical financial services, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and continuous product evolution.

This role is a great opportunity to work on enterprise-grade software solutions within a collaborative Agile environment. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of a modern platform while working across backend services, APIs, and selected frontend components. The project combines software engineering, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and modern development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions that support business growth.

You will work closely with software engineers, architects, QA specialists, Product Owners, and other cross-functional teams to deliver robust, maintainable, and scalable applications while contributing to the technical evolution of the platform.

You will be:
  • actively contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of the platform,
  • develop new features and platform enhancements following established engineering standards and best practices,
  • take technical ownership of assigned features and drive them through to successful delivery,
  • build and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservice-based solutions,
  • contribute to frontend development where required using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript,
  • ensure software quality through test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and automated testing practices,
  • support troubleshooting, debugging, and effective resolution of technical issues,
  • contribute to platform maintainability through documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous reduction of technical complexity,
  • collaborate closely with architects, QA engineers, Product Owners, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software,
  • contribute to the technical excellence and long-term evolution of the platform,
  • support and mentor less experienced team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance,
  • work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while developing a broad, "T-shaped" engineering skill set,
  • ensure agreed development processes, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently achieved,
Your profile:
  • commercial experience in software development using Java 17 or newer,
  • strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, and enterprise Java development,
  • experience building microservices and RESTful APIs,
  • solid understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles,
  • practical experience with SQL and relational databases,
  • experience working with Agile software development methodologies,
  • understanding of DevOps culture and modern software delivery practices,
  • practical experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript,
  • experience with Git and modern development tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Tomcat, or Apache,
  • familiarity with clean coding practices, SOLID principles, and software design patterns,
  • experience writing automated tests using JUnit, WebDriver, Cucumber, or similar frameworks,
  • familiarity with XML and JSON data formats,
  • understanding of system architecture and enterprise application design,
  • experience working with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting,
  • experience working with large-scale databases,
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • ability to make sound technical decisions and evaluate alternative solutions,
  • team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to shared goals,
  • proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks,
