As a Middle Office Specialist in the EMEA SPG Loans team, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our loan operations. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the smooth execution of our business activities. Your efforts will help us maintain our reputation for excellence and innovation in the financial industry. Job responsibilities
- Supports all middle office functions and handle ad-hoc requests efficiently.
- Interprets and manages credit agreements and related documentation.
- Collaborates with clients, external agents, and internal partners globally.
- Manages cash and collateral for loan positions, ensuring accurate reconciliations.
- Assists in client onboarding, adhering to Know Your Client (KYC) policies.
- Facilitates billing and invoicing processes.
- Arranges, books, and funds new deals, understands all aspects of deal administration.
- Oversees the loan lifecycle through to repayment or exit.
- Proactively raises and addresses issues with business partners and management.
- Partners with technology teams to support project delivery and migrations.
- Contributes feedback and discussion points in team meetings.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure, prioritizing duties effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for global collaboration.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of loan agreements and related legal documentation.
- Comfort with learning and adapting to new technology.
- Experience in an operations role is essential.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with SPG and highly structured deals.
- Familiarity with loan booking systems like LoanIQ.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate control gaps.
- Experience working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Proven track record of process improvement and efficiency gains
