Middle Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Back-End Engineer who loves to develop real-time, event-driven microservices with cloud-agnostic architecture and batch data processing via Spark. In this role, you will be responsible for developing event-driven microservices while improving the Big Data pipeline's reliability, security, resilience, and performance.

• Backend Development: Java 17+, Reactive Quarkus
• Testing and Code Quality: JUnit, JMeter, TestContainer, Sonar
• Microservices and APIs: REST, GraphQL
• Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure (SQS, SNS, API Gateway, S3, EventBridge, CloudFront, ECR, Azure AD, among others)
• Databases: Postgres, MongoDB, Redis
• Orchestration and Containers: Kubernetes, Docker
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins
• Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Kanban
• Good Development Practices: Patterns, SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture, Refactoring
• Technical Documentation: Production and maintenance of clear and accurate documentation

Responsibilities:

- Implement prioritized functionalities through the use of best engineering practices with consistent functional and technical validations throughout the lifecycle
- Guiding principles such as flexibility, scale and resilience
- Architecture and design standards such as event guidance
- Participate in discussions on the technical evolution of the product
- Support product evolution discussions to inform technical architecture decisions
- Support the definition and implementation of integration of internal and external services with RESTfull HTTP protocols, messaging and event hub
