We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient IT Specialist with a strong sense of extreme ownership. This role is designed for a professional who has mastered the basics of IT support and is ready to take full responsibility for the day-to-day stability, security, and maintenance of our internal network, hardware, and workstations. You will act as the "bridge" between basic helpdesk support and high-level infrastructure planning, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently and independently.

  1. Technical Execution: Providing expert remote and on-site support, serving as the primary escalation point for helpdesk tickets.

  2. Systems Maintenance: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across the technology stack (Windows/macOS/Linux and peripherals).

  3. Infrastructure Support: Assisting in the deployment and configuration of new servers, network hardware, and security protocols.

  4. Operational Ownership: Monitoring system health, performing regular backup checks, and ensuring disaster recovery procedures are followed correctly.

  5. Documentation: Proactively maintaining the internal IT knowledge base and documenting new technical procedures as they are established.

  6. Process Improvement: Identifying recurring technical bottlenecks and proposing solutions to improve system uptime and user productivity.




Requirements
  1. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or system administration role.

  2. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent service to non-technical employees.

  3. Ownership Mindset: A demonstrated history of taking a task from start to finish without being micromanaged.

  4. Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and enterprise environments.

  5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a "find-a-way" attitude toward technical troubleshooting.



Skills Required

  • At least 2 years in technical support or system administration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for non-technical users
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset; able to complete tasks independently
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs
  • Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations
