LocationSao Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid)
Qualifications- Experience with database administration in Production, Testing, and Development environments
- Knowledge of at least one of the following databases:
- Required: SQL Server and Oracle
- Nice to have: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Administration and configuration of backup and storage solutions
- Understanding of database security requirements, backup and recovery strategies, and performance monitoring
- Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
- Knowledge of scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Unix)
- Industry certifications in SQL Server and Oracle
- Knowledge of an additional language (English or Spanish)
- Plan, develop, and execute technical support activities for users and database infrastructure maintenance (both remotely and on-site)
- Provide guidance and clarification to users while registering, analyzing, diagnosing, and handling database-related requests
- Troubleshoot issues, implement services, perform migrations, and handle technology transfers efficiently
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure proper database functionality
- Monitor the performance, capacity, and availability of database management systems (DBMS) to detect and resolve potential issues
- Administer and configure DBMS while following best security practices
- Meet SLA requirements for response times, escalation, and downtime notifications
- Update and maintain technical documentation to support database infrastructure sustainability
