We are looking for Middle Financial Accountant to join our Finance team.
Middle Financial Accountant ensures timely and accurate preparation of monthly reporting packages, collection of all primary accounting documents and registers for respective Units, and providing them to external outsourced accountants and consultants for the posting of accounting transactions in line with applicable local GAAP and IFRS.
Duties and responsibilities (what you do):
- Collecting primary accounting documents and registers and providing them to external outsourced accountants and consultants for posting in the local accounting software (for non-UA entities)
- Ensure that all posted transactions are supported by appropriate documentation and comply with local requirements and the Group's policies and procedures
- Following the timeline of month-end and year-end closing processes to have a timely and accurately prepared trial balance across the non-UA locations
- Cooperating with other finance departments and outsourced accountants and consultants in line with the agreed scope and timeline of work
- Prepare calculation/analysis/assessment/ reconciliations of accounting data
- Prepare the info based on the auditor's request and check it for accuracy and completeness before submission to the auditors
- Assist Senior colleagues with their ad hoc requests per provided detailed instructions or templates
Qualifications or performance standards (how you do it):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, audit or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of related professional experience
- Intermediate English level or higher, good writing skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency,
- Knowledge of accounting software (BAS, Xero, QB, Visma) or any ERP systems ( Microsoft BC) is very welcomed
- Good communication skills
- Team player, responsible, reliable, open-minded, problem solver
