We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mid-Senior Manual QA Engineer to join a core Testing team and contribute to the quality and reliability of modern web applications.
The role focuses primarily on manual testing, covering functional, regression, and integration testing, while also offering the opportunity to contribute to Business Analysis activities and work closely with both technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across different application levels
- Design test strategies and test plans for new features and application changes
- Plan and coordinate testing cycles
- Analyze functional requirements and specifications to identify appropriate testing scenarios
- Log, track, and support the resolution of defects in collaboration with development teams
- Document test results, findings, and identified issues clearly and accurately
- Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and other project stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices
- Support Business Analysis activities when required
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in manual testing of web applications
- Strong experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Good knowledge of functional, regression, and integration testing
- Ability to understand functional specifications and complex business requirements
- Good understanding of Business Analysis concepts
- Experience with defect tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing
- Ability to clearly document defects, test results, and findings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams
- Previous experience in banking or fintech environments
- Familiarity with regulatory and auditing requirements within financial services
- Knowledge of or experience with test automation tools
- Have a quality-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
- Enjoy identifying issues and ensuring applications meet business requirements
- Can understand complex functional specifications and translate them into effective test scenarios
