We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mid-Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join a core application development team, with a primary focus on backend development while also contributing to front-end development when needed.
In this role, you will work with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, developing and maintaining enterprise applications, APIs, and integrations while collaborating closely with engineers, Functional Analysts, and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain backend applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
- Design and implement REST APIs and integration services with external systems
- Collaborate with engineers and Functional Analysts to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop clean, maintainable, and reliable application code
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and QA processes
- Troubleshoot issues and support bug fixing
- Optimize and improve existing application code
- Work with relational databases and data-driven applications
- Contribute to front-end development activities when required
- Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
- Good knowledge of designing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies
- Experience with collaboration and development tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
- Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and software quality practices
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a development team and meet defined timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a banking or fintech environment
- Have a strong backend development mindset and enjoy working with the .NET ecosystem
- Write clean, maintainable, and reliable code
- Are comfortable working with APIs, databases, and enterprise integrations
- Can contribute across the development lifecycle, from requirements through implementation and testing
