As backend engineer, you’ll commit your technical talents to our industry-leading SaaS team. This role invites you to help shape our engineering culture and, of course, our platform. It also comes with ownership: we expect you to take responsibility and grow!
Your Responsibilities- Focus mainly on the design and development of our RESTful backend services
- Support the quality management of our codebase and introduce new features and technologies
- Help innovate a SaaS application and own the entire process chain: from software design to deployment in the cloud
- Collaborate closely with other departments, forming cross-functional teams to shape new features in their early stage
- A degree in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist, or comparable knowledge from practical experience
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in backend and web development
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Good knowledge of Java, Hibernate, Spring (Boot) and SQL
- Knowledge of when and what to test (Unit Tests, E2E Tests)
- A passion to learn and experiment with new technologies
- A “you build it, you run it” mentality
- The ability to work autonomously and result oriented
- Strong written and spoken English
