Position Summary
Credence has an immediate need for a Mid-Level Qlik Developer to support the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAAS) Data Broker Exchange (DBX) Modernization Project. The selected candidate will support the development, modernization, enhancement, and sustainment of enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities within the DAAS DBX environment.
The Qlik Developer will collaborate with government stakeholders, functional analysts, data engineers, and development teams to design and implement data visualization solutions that improve operational visibility, reporting accuracy, and decision-making across the enterprise. This role requires experience developing scalable Qlik applications, integrating multiple data sources, and supporting Agile software development initiatives in a secure DoD environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Qlik Sense and/or QlikView dashboards, reports, and analytics applications supporting the DAAS DBX Modernization Project.
- Develop and optimize Qlik data models, ETL scripts, and data integration processes.
- Create interactive visualizations, scorecards, KPIs, and executive dashboards to support program objectives.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and external data sources.
- Perform data validation and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and performance issues.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
- Document technical designs, reporting specifications, and development processes.
- Support modernization efforts, system enhancements, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or application development.
- 3+ years of hands-on Qlik Sense and/or QlikView development experience.
- Experience developing enterprise dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Strong experience with Qlik scripting, data modeling, and ETL development.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational database technologies.
- Experience integrating and transforming data from multiple sources.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain all required government system access.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Current CAC with recent DoD or federal government experience.
- Experience supporting Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), DAAS, ERP, logistics, or financial management systems.
- Experience supporting modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
- Qlik certifications (Qlik Sense Business Analyst, Data Architect, or Data Engineer).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms.
- Experience with cloud-hosted analytics environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting government contracts and performance work statement (PWS)-driven environments.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, certifications, skills, and overall qualifications.
