Cranfill Sumner LLP is seeking a talented and motivated mid-level litigation associate to join its Business Disputes & Litigation Practice Group in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated business and commercial disputes alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. We are looking for an associate who has developed a strong litigation foundation and is ready to take on increasing responsibility in complex matters. The ideal candidate will have experience handling depositions, court appearances, legal research and writing, motion practice, and case management.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have approximately four years of litigation experience and a strong foundation in all phases of the litigation process, including taking and defending depositions, appearing in court, drafting and arguing motions, conducting legal research, and preparing high-quality written work. Candidates should be comfortable managing day-to-day case responsibilities while working collaboratively with partners and clients on litigation strategy. Experience with North Carolina Business Court matters, shareholder and derivative actions, mergers and acquisitions-related litigation, commercial lease disputes, commercial debt collection and enforcement matters, and other complex business disputes is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills, demonstrate sound judgment and attention to detail, and have a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina or eligible for admission to the North Carolina Bar.
