Salary Range
₦300,000 – ₦400,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
1. Role SummarySafeBox Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Frontend Developer to build, design, and maintain high-quality, production-grade interfaces for our clients and our digital products. The role holder will work both independently and collaboratively on features, contribute to technical decisions, and collaborate closely with the product, design, and backend teams to deliver reliable, well-structured frontend solutions.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain responsive, production-grade interfaces using React 19 and Next.js (v15 or later).
Write clean, well-typed code using TypeScript across the codebase.
Work with the TanStack ecosystem (Table, Router, Query) to manage data fetching, routing, and complex UI state.
Implement UI using Tailwind CSS (v4) and shadcn/ui, maintaining design consistency.
Build and validate forms using React Hook Form and Zod.
Take features from requirements through to delivery with minimal supervision, escalating blockers proactively.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and standups, and give constructive feedback to teammates.
Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional, reliable frontend solutions.
Diagnose and resolve bugs and UI inconsistencies, and contribute to improving code quality over time.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related STEM field.
3+ years of hands-on professional experience in frontend development.
Demonstrated experience with React 19 and Next.js (v15 or later).
Strong working knowledge of TypeScript in a production setting.
Practical experience with the TanStack ecosystem (Table, Router, Query).
Experience with Tailwind CSS (v4), shadcn/ui, React Hook Form, and Zod.
Comfortable working in a team environment with solid Git and version control practices.
A portfolio or GitHub history that demonstrates real, production-level project work.
