Ardent is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to join our team.  

This is a Remote position.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering business insights and recommendations. As a Mid-Level Business Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding business needs, analyzing data, and facilitating decision-making to drive growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis, including gathering and documenting user requirements, process mapping, and workflow analysis.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documentation, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate analysis findings and recommendations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and project management, to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans and strategies to validate business requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to stakeholders during project implementation and post-implementation phases.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.

    Understanding of GIS Technology/Concepts. Strong understanding and experience is preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role, preferably in government contracting.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desired:

  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis).
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
