Job description:

The applicant will work with SSC engineers, scientists, and acquisition agents to develop intelligence threat documentation and briefings integral to the United States Space Force (USSF) development, acquisition, operations, and logistical support activities.
Responsibilities:
Research, assess, and produce all-source analytic reports regarding potential threats to current and future USSF capabilities.
Utilize comprehensive understanding of IMINT, OSINT, SIGNIT, MASINT and HUMINT capabilities to combine disparate data into to cogent / organized information.
Collaborate with multiple space system development and ISR Community organizations; and develop comprehensive intelligence threat assessments. This includes but is not limited to analysis of foreign adversary space doctrine and strategy; tactics, techniques, and procedures; potential offensive and defensive weapon system capabilities and their vulnerabilities; potential force applications toward USSF components; and planned / potential emergent adversary capabilities.
Applicants must be capable of developing structured and unstructured data queries in open and classified data sources; apply multiple analytical tradecraft skills and applications; possess / be knowledgeable of disciplined data management practices; experienced in quick-turn and protracted analyses / product development; and possess exceptional written and oral communication skills suitable for senior leader presentations. Applicants must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with scientific, acquisition and ISR community stakeholders to produce threat assessments

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience OR an Associate’s Degree and 10+ years of multi-ISR discipline experience.
Possess TS/SCI eligibility upon employment.
Provides a full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist analysts, engineers, and scientists involved in a variety of intelligence disciplines and activities. Activities include, but are not limited to, reviewing documents for accuracy, and responding to staff requests on accessing, coordinating, consolidating, or formatting, assisting with administration and management of RFIs, task actions, reports, and briefings; preparing correspondence and other documents needed to support the management of the program and associated activities; creating read-ahead documents, coordinating with security to ensure guests have appropriate access, and building read ahead books or material for official functions and meetings; and providing cross-domain data transfer and intelligence dissemination support.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
• Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology. Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
• Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
• Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Required Education: Master’s degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 15 years, as a substitute to the master’s degree.

Desired Qualifications:

Previous SAP access is highly desired.

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or Associate's degree with equivalent ISR experience
  • 6+ years related experience OR 10+ years multi-ISR discipline experience; posting also cites minimum 10 years and advanced substitution rules for Master's
  • Possess TS/SCI eligibility (TS/SCI with Polygraph) upon employment
  • In-depth knowledge of IMINT, OSINT, SIGINT, MASINT, and HUMINT tradecraft and ISR analytic methodologies
  • Ability to develop structured and unstructured data queries in open and classified data sources
  • Experience producing all-source analytic reports, threat assessments, briefings, and read-ahead materials for senior leaders
  • Demonstrated mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and ability to test analytic rigor
  • Ability to manage RFIs, task actions, reports, briefings, and coordinate with security for access
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills suitable for senior leader presentations
  • Previous SAP access
