E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a MID Intelligence Management Specialist (Spanish)to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO in support of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). NORAD is a United States and Canada bi-national organization charged with the missions of aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning for North America. Aerospace warning includes the detection, validation, and warning of attack against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles, through mutual support arrangements with other commands. 


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provides a full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist Foreign Liaison officers responsible for leading and managing intelligence security cooperation efforts on behalf of the NORAD J2.  
  • Specialist responsibilities would include language translation support, review of documents, assisting with responses to staff requests, preparing correspondence and other documents, support to Key Leader Engagements, and performing other duties in support of NORAD J2 Intelligence Security Cooperation efforts.  
  • Incumbent is responsible for correct format, grammatical structure, punctuation, clarity of expression, word usage and maintenance of the concept and intent of the original text.  
  • Completed work is not expected to require extensive editorial correction as incumbent is expected to review and revise work on completion of translation.  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. 
  • Able to pass translation test from Spanish into English at interagency language roundtable (ILR) level 3 or higher.
  • Experience in working with CCMD Foreign Disclosure Officers in working to get products released to a wider audience than originally indented. 
  • Experience researching and writing intelligence reports. 
  • Experience supporting multinational customers. 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. 
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience participating in and effectively contributing to a highly-collaborative team environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and to work independently. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
