Mikros Animation is looking for talented Mid Anim Fix Artist with a passion for performance, action, and strong design sensibilities. Join our fast-paced studio and collaborate closely with the Animation Leadership to bring the Director’s vision to life. Our current project offers exciting creative challenges and opportunities to deliver high-quality animation and memorable performances.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, feature-quality character animation based on storyboards and layouts.

• Deliver compelling performances that support storytelling and character personality.

• Collaborate closely with Animation Leads and the Director to refine animation.

• Meet production deadlines while maintaining a high artistic standard.

• Participate actively in dailies, feedback sessions, and rounds.

• Contribute to shared animation resources, such as libraries and character rigs.

• Diploma or equivalent in 3D computer graphics/animation.

• Proven experience in 3D animation using Maya in film or animated TV production.

• Strong understanding of body mechanics (realistic and cartoony) and facial animation; 2D animation/drawing skills are a plus.

• Ability to interpret storyboards and integrate Director feedback effectively.

• Comfortable working within a production pipeline and adapting to custom tools.

• Knowledge of RV and Shotgun (or similar review/production tools) is an asset.

• Creative sensibility for exaggerated, cartoony animation, including breaking conventional rules when needed.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

The person in this role will work closely with our Paris studio in a bilingual environment, as well as with international partners, talent, and clients. They will regularly interact with non-French-speaking stakeholders across various productions and strategic communications, in order to present and promote the creative and technical strengths of Mikros Animation on a global scale.
