What You'll Do:
- Design, operate, maintain, and optimize cutting-edge Microsoft SQL Database Systems.
- Tackle challenges head-on by isolating and resolving complex database problems.
- Spearhead initiatives such as designing, installing, and implementing security policies, vulnerability analyses, and system documentation.
- Collaborate across IT functions, working with network, system, and database administrators to achieve mission-critical goals.
- Ensure systems remain secure and up-to-date through patches, upgrades, and proactive maintenance.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system reliability to guarantee optimal performance and availability.
- Lead re-accreditation actions like DISA STIG reviews, system upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
- Build strong relationships with diverse teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
What You'll Bring:
- An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to secure one within 30 days of hire.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience. Additional training, certifications, or hands-on experience may substitute for a degree.
- SQL Database Administration expertise (SQL 2012 or higher) and proven experience in Microsoft Server environments (2012 or higher).
- Strong skills in database performance monitoring and tuning, with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and Visio.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with customers and teams.

Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
