Job Summary:

We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Developer to design, build and optimize end-to-end data solutions that unify Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory within the Microsoft Fabric platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and analytics, and experience in building scalable, integrated data pipelines and analytics solutions across cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, develop and maintain integrated data workflows using Microsoft Fabric components.

• Build and manage data pipelines that transform and move data across systems (Azure Data Factory).

• Develop and optimize data models and reports using Power BI for analytics and business intelligence.

• Utilize Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing, querying, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Monitor data quality, integrity, and security across integrated platforms.

• Automate data ingestion, processing, and visualization processes.

• Ensure end-to-end traceability and version control of data and analytics assets.

• Stay updated with Microsoft Fabric capabilities and contribute to best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or analytics development.

• Proven experience working with Power BI, Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes and cloud data architecture.

• Experience with SQL, DAX, T-SQL and Python or Spark (preferred).

• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps for data pipelines is a plus.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Role-Specific Requirements:

• In-depth experience with Microsoft Fabric platform or equivalent integration of Synapse + Power BI + ADF.

• Ability to build Lakehouses, Notebooks and Dataflows within the Fabric environment.

• Understanding of OneLake, DirectLake and Delta Lake concepts.

• Ability to integrate real-time and batch data processing within a unified platform.

• Comfortable working in agile/scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
