This manager-level role is ideal for professionals who excel in platform stability, system governance, performance optimization, and infrastructure leadership within enterprise environments.

As part of our India-based support team, you will collaborate closely with global teams to ensure seamless system operations, enforce best practices, and drive improvements across cloud-hosted D365 environments and their integrations. You will lead and mentor junior engineers during the C Shift and contribute to architectural decision-making and environmental governance.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Management & Infrastructure Operations

  • Provide advanced-level support for maintaining D365 SCM/F&O environments, including deployments, database refreshes, service updates, and proactive quality updates.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and scalability across all production and non-production systems.
  • Lead System Engineering responsibilities during shift hours, ensuring successful execution of environment refreshes, disaster recovery activities, Azure Logic Apps troubleshooting, Azure DevOps pipelines, and LCS lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate closely with global Crowe Support Teams to deliver high-quality system support and operational excellence.
  • Analyze and resolve performance issues through deep diagnostic expertise, driving permanent, scalable fixes.

Environment Governance & Automation

  • Define, implement, and enforce environment governance, configuration standards, and DevOps practices for D365 lifecycle management.
  • Lead automation initiatives using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and additional scripting tools to optimize operational workflows.
  • Coordinate with Microsoft and external vendors for escalations, environment updates, hotfixes, and service-level compliance.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for technical environment-level issues and system performance concerns.
  • Partner with business analysts, product owners, developers, and support teams to ensure optimal system functionality and operational readiness.
  • Engage directly with client users to understand issues, gather requirements, and drive effective support outcomes.
  • Deliver timely RCA documentation, environment status updates, and resolution plans to client stakeholders.

Operational Excellence & Documentation

  • Drive industry-standard incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, deployment runbooks, monitoring dashboards, and operational knowledge bases.
  • Enhance monitoring, alerting, and telemetry using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, LCS, and Power Platform tools.

Expectations

Leadership & Ownership

  • Take full accountability for D365 environment health, reliability, and performance while mentoring junior team members and improving operational processes.

Continuous Learning

  • Stay current on the Microsoft roadmap and evolving Azure cloud and D365 infrastructure capabilities.

Resilience & Problem Solving

  • Approach incidents and complex performance issues with a calm, structured, and analytical mindset while driving long-term resolutions.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

  • Work closely with U.S.-based stakeholders during shift hours to ensure operational excellence across global environments.

Required Skills

Mandatory

  • 8+ years of technical experience supporting D365 F&O/SCM infrastructure, including SQL performance tuning, Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform (Power Pages, Power Automate, Power Apps), LCS, and Application Insights.
  • Hands-on experience managing SCM-specific workloads and integrations within D365.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS, system performance optimization, database tuning, and D365 telemetry.
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, source control (VSTS/Git), and automated deployment frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers.
  • Excellent leadership skills, project coordination ability, and strong stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to operate independently, especially when handling complex customer-reported technical issues.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and analytical skills.
  • C Shift (5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST ±2 hours)

Preferred

  • Experience with Dual-write, Data Integrator, and Power Platform integrations.
  • Familiarity with Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Power BI, and health dashboards.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing/production business processes.
  • Experience with Azure security hardening, compliance standards, and cost optimization.
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Azure, or Infrastructure Management.
