You will:

• Lead the design, planning and implementation of Azure and M365 cloud solutions for new clients, with a high emphasis on automated and reusable deployments 
• Act as a highest escalation point, including vendor escalation
• Translate general infrastructure concepts through a deep understanding of the Azure toolset and be able to advise and/or select the appropriate Azure service to use for specific deployments 
• Act as Technical Quality Assurance resource on a project
• Proactively look for opportunities to improve the design and implementation of public cloud solutions
• Keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies and help evaluate cloud native and other vendor offerings to determine best fit for business needs 
• Work alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visions
• Provide solutions to any complex Public Cloud-related challenges in the organization (Microsoft Azure and O365 focus, AWS is a plus)
• Be part of the Architecture Innovation Team continually looking at improvements and efficiencies as well as cutting edge public cloud solutions

Technical:

• 4+ years Azure environment deployment and support experience 
• Virtual Machines, Availability Sets, Storage Accounts, and Azure Site Recovery 
• Virtual Networks, Virtual WANs, and ExpressRoute 
• Good general working knowledge of the public cloud landscape and why businesses use them. 
• M365, Azure Information Protection, PIM, Endpoint Protection, and Azure AD experience 

• Experience with migrations to public cloud projects (email, documents, applications, servers, etc.)
• Automation experience using Terraform and PowerShell
• Experience with Configuration management and Cost models based on licences and Azure resources
• High standard of written documentation
