Microsoft 365 Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft M365 Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft 365 services, including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and the Power Platform. This role involves managing, configuring, and supporting M365 environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administration and Support
Manage and support M365 services, including user account management, license assignment, and troubleshooting.
- Configuration and Deployment
Configure and deploy M365 applications and services to meet business requirements.
- Security and Compliance
Implement and manage security policies, compliance settings, and data protection measures.
- Collaboration Tools
Support and enhance collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Integration
Integrate M365 services with other business applications and systems.
- Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor system performance, generate reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Incident Management
Respond to and resolve incidents related to M365 services in a timely manner.
CORE SKILLS:
- Proficiency in M365 administration and configuration.
- Strong understanding of M365 security and compliance features.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are preferred.
Years of Experience
- Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 services.
Skill
- Proficiency in M365 administration and configuration.
- Strong understanding of M365 security and compliance features.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
Other requirements
- Experience with hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and related services.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).

National Certificate Level 4 (N4) / Grade 12 (Required)
