Description
Vamonos IT is seeking a talented and driven Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting Microsoft 365 environments for our valued clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related security and compliance features.
- Perform migration projects to Microsoft 365 from legacy on-premises and hybrid environments (e.g., Exchange, SharePoint, file servers).
- Implement and support advanced Microsoft 365 security and compliance solutions, such as Azure AD, Conditional Access, DLP, eDiscovery, and Defender for Office 365.
- Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements and deliver tailored Microsoft 365 strategies and roadmaps.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API where applicable.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, providing tier 2/3 support as needed.
- Deliver training and documentation to clients and internal teams, ensuring successful adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 product developments, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Work cross-functionally with project managers, other engineers, and partners to deliver seamless solutions.
- Support internal Vamonos IT initiatives and operations as needed.
- Support the Vamonos IT business development initiatives and team.
- Engage/complete continuing education/certification processes as prescribed by customer and/or Vamonos IT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, engineering, and/or migrations.
- Strong proficiency in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools (DLP, eDiscovery, Defender for Office 365, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
- Demonstrated ability to architect and implement migration strategies for mail, file, and collaboration systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service and support.
- Some Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, such as MS-100, MS-101, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
