Microsoft 365 Engineer (m/f/d)

We are the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and are constantly optimizing our products.

We help make the food supply cycle for the population more sustainable. With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases. Through our products and the need for less packaging materials we reduce the carbon footprint.

Key responsibilities:

• M365 Administration & Security – Administer and secure the Microsoft 365 environment across all services, ensuring stability, availability, and protection of company data.
• Security Solutions Implementation – Configure and manage Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Microsoft Defender for M365 to strengthen the security posture.
• Compliance & Governance – Ensure regulatory compliance using Microsoft Purview and the Compliance Center, while implementing best-practice configurations.
• Monitoring & Incident Response – Continuously monitor systems, respond to security incidents, and optimize service performance for reliability and efficiency.
• Automation & Efficiency – Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for auditing, reporting, and process automation to drive operational excellence.
• Collaboration & Alignment – Work closely with IT security and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements and align with corporate policies.
• Innovation & Service Improvement – Plan, test, and roll out new Microsoft 365 features, enhance service configurations, and support IT projects with problem-solving expertise.

We expect:

• Educational Background – Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Microsoft Expertise – Up-to-date certification (e.g., MS-102) and several years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration & security.
• Technical Skills – Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Purview, Intune, and Azure Active Directory.
• Security & Compliance – Proven track record in securing Microsoft 365 environments in mid-sized to large organizations.
• Industry Experience – Background in regulated or security-sensitive industries is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation – Analytical, solution-oriented, and eager to implement new technologies.
• Soft Skills – Strong communicator and team player, able to explain complex topics clearly.
• Language Skills – Fluent in English and German; additional languages (e.g., Spanish or French) are a plus.
