SMX is seeking a driven and talented Microsoft 0365 Engineer to join our thriving Cloud Business Unit department and work with some of the best Architects, Engineers, and Operators in the market. This individual will bring a passion for technology, a strong technical skill set, and an ability to deploy, employ, operate, and sustain Production-ready solutions, software, and tools for our customers.
Required Skills

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, or 9+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience with certifications
- Hands on experience with implementation, deployment, migration, and support of core M365 services, including (but not limited to):
- Teams – including support for PC and Mobile Devices and integration with other O365 applications (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.), chat/meetings, voice integration
- OneDrive – including collaboration and file sharing across PC and Mobile Devices
- Exchange Online – including mailbox migration
- SharePoint Online – including policy enforcement, data protection, governance
- Experience in configuring and integrating M365 with other related Microsoft SaaS services including Azure AD
- Expertise in working directly with users to solve their problems.
- Ability to Configure, manage and support M365 security and monitoring services (e.g., MDE, MDI, ATP, Unified Audit Log management, MCAS).
- Knowledge of Configuring, managing and supporting email security on Exchange Online.
- Ability to Monitor and provide alerts for Microsoft cloud service health and availability.
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), strategy documents, user instructions, O&M instructions, and configuration documents.
- Communicate directly with management, peers, and users.
