Position Type: 6+ months contract
Location: Piscataway, NJ 08854
Payrate: $27/hr. on W2
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of samples and raw materials using aseptic techniques.
- Apply existing test methods and procedures to complete the required microbiological testing.
- Collect, process, and interpret accurately results, derive conclusions based on sound science.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding testing statuses of projects.
- Adhere to written procedures and practices to ensure good quality, compliance, and safety.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes, delays, or other unexpected events, and prioritize the work to ensure on time delivery of results and critical project milestones.
- Adhere to site and department’s health and safety guidelines and maintain personal and shared workspace.

- Bachelor’s degree in biology, or related field, with 1-3 years of professional (post-graduate) experience
- Working knowledge of aseptic technique, pipettor, handling of media and working in BSC.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a diverse environment to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet timelines.
- Capability of working independently as well as working in a fast paced team driven environment
- Excellent bench skills and organization while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
