Lead and manage a team of process engineers to oversee process development, optimization, and sustaining in semiconductor manufacturing. Drive process performance, yield improvement, and cost optimization while leveraging AI-driven analytics, automation, and advanced data modeling to enhance decision-making, process control, and operational efficiency. Provide technical leadership and support across manufacturing, equipment, and integration teams.
Responsibilities and Tasks• Forecast and manage process-related operational costs, including materials, yield loss, and metrology expenses. Drive cost reduction initiatives through AI-based yield analysis and predictive modeling.• Develop and implement robust process control systems to ensure stability, repeatability, and high yield. Leverage AI-assisted fault detection, root cause analysis (RCA), and knowledge systems to improve excursion response and reduce variability.• Work closely with Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing teams to address process constraints and optimize OEE, yield, and throughput. Utilize AI/ML models to improve process windows and sampling strategies.• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop scalable process solutions, integrating AI-enabled monitoring systems, digital dashboards, and smart alerting for real-time process health tracking.• Provide support to ensure compliance with EHSS requirements, including chemical handling, process safety, and risk mitigation. Utilize digital and AI tools for hazard identification, trend analysis, and compliance tracking.• Maintain high standards of process discipline, documentation, and housekeeping. Ensure all process changes and controls are tracked through digital systems and automated workflows.• Ensure employees have the required training, process knowledge, and competencies, including AI literacy, data interpretation, and the use of advanced analytics tools.• Drive continuous improvement in yield, defect density, and process capability through DOE, SPC, and data-driven methodologies enhanced by AI-based insights.• Establish and monitor supplier performance for process materials and consumables (e.g., photoresist, chemicals), using data analytics and AI benchmarking to optimize quality and cost.• Set performance expectations for team members and conduct regular reviews. Build capability by promoting AI adoption (e.g., Copilot, data tools, automation platforms) to enhance engineering productivity and decision speed.

Skills Required
- Experience leading and managing a team of process engineers in semiconductor manufacturing
- Expertise in process development, optimization, sustaining, and yield improvement for scanner/photo processes
- Practical knowledge of AI/ML-driven analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-assisted fault detection for process control
- Experience with DOE and SPC methodologies for process capability and defect reduction
- Familiarity with metrology, OEE optimization, sampling strategies, and equipment-manufacturing integration
- Experience managing process-related operational costs, supplier performance, and consumables (photoresist, chemicals)
- Knowledge of EHSS requirements including chemical handling, process safety, and risk mitigation
- Strong documentation, process discipline, training delivery, and ability to promote AI literacy and data interpretation
