What will you be doing?

Quality Assurance professional supports an agile team in analyzing, designing, testing and that includes functional and nonfunctional, integration, automation, system, performance and sanity testing.

Job Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and executing test cases for ETL processes using PySpark, Python, and SQL. 
• Establish and enforce best practices in quality engineering, including Testing standards, automation testing,

• Identifying automation opportunities in ETL testing to validate data and automate test flows.
• Participate in test strategic planning, testing phase, and cross-functional discussions. 

• Experience of working with other developers to ensure that systems are designed for reliability, performance, and testability

• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend improvements to enhance product reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 

•  2+ – 4 years of experience in QA engineering. 
• Participate in aspects related to Functional Testing, Functional automation.
• Understand requirements and be able to write test cases.

• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python and PySpark,

• Exposure to Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. 
• Knowledge of basic Unix shell commands and CI/CD concepts.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling. 
• Understanding Agile test methodologies and defects tracking tool such as Jira.
