Mgr - Marketing Finance

Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.

We are currently seeking a Mgr - Marketing Finance to join our Global FP&A team based in our New York, New York Headquarters.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage the P&L for the marketing organization 
• Lead the forecast process for company-wide marketing spend through the maintenance of detailed financial models  
• Drive month-end close processes in partnership with Accounting and Corporate Finance, and analyze variances between actual results and forecasts 
• Partner with Marketing team to track financial performance of marketing initiatives and report against key performance indicators 
• Assist with annual budget and long-range planning processes 
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reports to senior leadership team, highlighting key trends 
• Partner with Business Intelligence team to define and develop refined reporting capabilities 
• Complete invoice and contract reviews to ensure alignment with financial forecasts and budgets 

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) 

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or accounting 
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience as a financial analyst, management consultant, or in a strategic accounting role 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel. Understanding of Power BI is a plus. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to perform detailed analyses and summarize key takeaways 
• Ability to prioritize one's workload to complete deliverables in a timely manner 
• Exhibit continuous improvement mindset to identify process pain points and partner with stakeholders to implement change 
• Experience working in the media and entertainment industry or within a marketing finance function is preferred 
• Experience in Oracle Essbase, Oracle Planning and Oracle EBS is a plus 

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 commensurate with experience.
