Job Summary
The Manager, Change Management Communications is responsible for overseeing the communications for a vast portfolio of change management projects. The Manager can be located remotely and ensures the effective coordination and communications of transformation projects across the company.
Essential Functions
- Creates and maintains audience-focused messaging and presentations for a large portfolio of change initiatives, translating key takeaways and connecting dots to formulate a compelling story for executive audiences.
- Works with key stakeholders to understand change initiatives and develops and executes communication plans.
- Conducts in-depth audience analysis and stakeholder management strategies.
- Translates complex technical information into clear, concise language for non-technical audiences.
- Manages executive audiences, set expectations, and influence for results.
- Tracks project status and manages related issues & risks.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the change management communication strategy through defined metrics for success.
- Serves as an experienced change agent, influencing, building consensus, and fostering trust across teams to accelerate outcomes.
Required Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
- 7-9 years Experience in communications with proven results across internal and external channels.
- 4-6 years Experience in change management communications, executive communications, organizational transformation, and internal communications.
- Well versed and experienced with technology and transformation communications, has a strong technical muscle. High
- Strong storyteller with excellent presentation capabilities, with a focus on communicating strategic opportunities, change plans, and holistic impact. High
- "One team" player, transparent and an advocate of sharing data and learnings to create better outcomes. High
- Inspires peripheral relationships across NiSource, has the enthusiasm and passion to engage own team and wider organization on Transformation roadmap. High
- Large scale program management ability to drive solutions across a global organization with multiple functional stakeholders. Medium
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability, in a constantly fast-evolving environment. High

Salary Range:
$107,000.00 - $160,500.00
