Job Description
Job Summary**
Responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and business clients, providing comprehensive wealth management solutions and fostering strong, long-term relationships to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities**
* Identify, acquire, and onboard new high-net-worth individual and business clients for wealth management services.
* Proactively manage and deepen relationships with existing clients, understanding their financial goals and risk appetites.
* Conduct thorough financial needs analysis and develop tailored wealth management strategies, including investment, insurance, and legacy planning solutions.
* Present and articulate complex financial products and services clearly and effectively to clients.
* Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and adapt client strategies.
* Collaborate with internal product specialists, investment advisors, and other banking departments to deliver holistic financial solutions.
* Ensure all client interactions and transactions adhere to regulatory guidelines, bank policies, and ethical standards.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets and business growth objectives.
* Prepare and present regular performance reports and client reviews.
* Participate in client events and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) is a strong advantage.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on business clients.
* Proven track record of success in acquiring and managing high-net-worth client relationships and achieving sales targets.
* Deep understanding of a wide range of investment products, insurance solutions, and wealth planning strategies.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with sophisticated clients.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and develop appropriate financial solutions.
* In-depth knowledge of financial markets, economic principles, and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. Fluency in other languages (e.g., Mandarin) is an added advantage.
* Good understanding of UOB products and services is preferred.
