Job Description
* Develop and execute strategies to acquire new high-net-worth individual and corporate clients for wealth management solutions, including investments, insurance, and other financial products.
* Proactively identify and cultivate client relationships, understanding their financial goals, risk appetite, and investment objectives to provide tailored and comprehensive wealth management advice.
* Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis and present customized investment proposals, demonstrating a strong understanding of market trends, product features, and regulatory requirements.
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of wealth management clients, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and ongoing engagement through regular reviews and communication.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, legal, and compliance teams, to deliver integrated and holistic financial solutions to clients.
* Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for business growth and product enhancement.
* Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all client interactions and transactions.
* Prepare and present regular reports on business performance, client acquisition, and portfolio growth to senior management.
* Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of financial industry trends, new products, and relevant regulations.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) is highly advantageous.
* Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry, specifically dealing with high-net-worth clients.
* Proven track record of successful client acquisition and portfolio growth in wealth management.
* Strong understanding of various investment products, financial planning principles, and wealth management strategies (e.g., equities, fixed income, unit trusts, insurance, estate planning).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with sophisticated clients.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial information and provide sound, client-centric advice.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical conduct.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Relevant licenses and certifications as required by Malaysian financial regulations (e.g., FIMM, SC licenses) are mandatory.
