Position Summary: 

As a Manufacturing Support Specialist within the Engineering department, you will serve as the essential bridge between design intent, ERP master data, and shop floor execution across our MOG, Machine Shop, and RMT product lines. Your mission is to drive data integrity, acting as a primary gatekeeper for materials, components, and operational BOMs in our ERP system. You will support the engineering and operations teams by transforming designs into production-ready Bills of Materials (BOMs), updating CAD drawings, authoring clear work instructions, and providing hands-on troubleshooting and testing directly on the manufacturing floor.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Technology) or equivalent hands-on experience in a machine shop or technical production environment.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in ERP master data entry, BOM architecture, production planning, or hands-on engineering support within a manufacturing/machine shop environment.
  • ERP Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of ERP systems with a focus on Master Data Management, item creation, and BOM structures.
  • CAD & Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints and GD&T; proficiency in SolidWorks for drawing updates, redlines, and data extraction.
  • Communication & Hands-On Problem Solving: Excellent technical writing skills to author clear visual SOPs, paired with a strong mechanical aptitude and comfort spending active time on the shop floor troubleshooting issues.

Skills Required
