Objective of the position: Provide project leadership skills to planning and implement new processes and equipment for logistics and internal material flow, related process improvements and non-product projects by leading teams and coordinating their efforts without impacting Saltillo Assembly plant 2 SOP & ramp up plan
Coordinate and align projects with Reference Factory Principles and Master Site Plan (MSP)
Work closely with equipment providers, automation & software vendors, suppliers and Saltillo plants to implement Logistics and internal material transfer related process changes at all Saltillo plants. Design processes, specify, procure and implement equipment to improve process quality and increase efficiency of material handling in Saltillo Assembly 2 project.
Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):
- Specific Logistics knowledge of DTNA facilities i.e. Mainframe, MES
- Manufacturing experience
- Defining and implementing logistics processes
- English level: Intermediate – Advanced B2

Academic Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Manufacturing Planning, Electrical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related from an accredited university/college (At least 1 year of group lead or project lead experience / 5 years of related experience preferred)

Main Functions:
-Lead and manage all aspects of a project including generating specifications, vendor capability analysis and selection, developing and tracking budgets, leading cross functional teams to ensure timely project completion
-Work with Corp and local IT to ensure new software deployment activities can be conducted within planned timeline and budget
-Design, procure, test, and implement Logistics equipment/processes to optimize efficiency
-Lead capital investment planning for future projects
-Drive communication efforts between Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Data analytics, IT, suppliers and other parties required to successfully implement logistics projects.
-Manage the selection, development and utilization of human resources to meet SOP & ramp up plans.
-Provide leadership to improve and implement processes, systems and procedures to achieve business objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal regulations.
