How You’ll Contribute

The Solution Architect applies technical knowledge to support customers and partners in adopting SUSE’s solutions. This role involves solving a range of moderately complex technical issues, conducting technical demonstrations, and contributing to account strategies. Success in this role is measured by the ability to work independently within structured practices and deliver value-driven solutions aligned with customer needs. The candidate should be based in Mexico City/DF

  • Establish trusted technical relationships with customers to better understand their needs and provide reliable support for solution adoption.

  • Independently manage standard technical aspects of the sales cycle, from qualification through demonstrations and handling routine customer objections.

  • Gather customer feedback on SUSE products and advocate for customer needs in product development discussions.

  • Contribute independently to Account Plans with sales and partner teams, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.

  • Actively engage in technical marketing events, contributing presentations and knowledge to support go-to-market initiatives.

  • Perform competitor analysis for moderately complex use cases, identifying SUSE’s advantages and suggesting enhancements to the team’s strategy.

  • Independently draft and respond to technical sections of information requests, such as RFI, RFP and RFQ processes, and contributing technical insights for proposals.

  • Act as a peer resource, sharing product insights and technical best practices to support team learning.

  • Regularly update CRM tools with detailed tracking of technical criteria, validation statuses, and next steps.

  • Continue to refine technical skills, stay updated on industry trends, and deepen knowledge in SUSE’s offerings.

What You’ll Bring

  • Solid experience in technical consulting, pre-sales engineering or solution architecture, with expertise in enterprise software solutions.

  • Proficient with Linux systems and open-source solutions, with practical experience in cloud and container technologies.

  • Fluent Spanish/English

  • Skilled in articulating complex technical solutions for various stakeholders, translating technical benefits into business value.

  • Proficient in delivering technical demonstrations and use cases to highlight product strengths.

  • Strong ability to address technical challenges independently and create value-driven solutions.

  • Proven experience working across sales, engineering, and customer success teams to achieve successful outcomes.

  • Experienced in designing solutions that meet enterprise needs for scalability, security, and reliability.

  • Advanced consultative selling abilities, acting as a reliable technical advisor throughout the sales process.

  • Skilled in CRM management, ensuring accurate tracking of technical close criteria and pipeline updates.
