Overview & Responsibilities
The Big Picture
This is more than a programming role—it's a chance to shape how things get made. As a Methods Engineer, you'll provide the technical and administrative direction that keeps our manufacturing operation running at its best. You'll generate CNC programs, create route sheets, and work side-by-side with the team on the floor to solve problems, reduce costs, and improve quality. If you like a role that blends hands-on problem-solving with strategic thinking, this is it.
What This Role Really Means
This is both a line and support position.
Line responsibilities mean you'll help control and coordinate production activities to keep things moving smoothly.
Support responsibilities mean you'll develop and implement CNC programs and computer-generated route sheets that directly impact how work gets done.
You'll also help direct and coordinate activities across a multi-functional department—including training programs, developing new manufacturing processes, and driving cost reduction.
Supervision & Leadership
While this is not a full-time supervisory role, you'll step into a supervisory capacity when needed. You'll also lead and direct Bargaining Unit Personnel, so strong communication and people skills are a must.
