Job Summary/Description:
Ready to deliver life-saving information to viewers about an approaching hurricane? WLOX in Biloxi, Mississippi, is looking for a Meteorologist to do that and much more as part of our experienced, award-winning First Alert Weather Team.
This is a full-time weather position, forecasting for weekend newscasts as well as working with an experienced team in our weather center three days during the week. The primary duties include crafting, producing, and presenting weather segments. You'll also help prepare, produce, and post content for TV, the WLOX Weather app, social media, our CTV streaming channel, and more.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in meteorology or related field is preferred.
- Education or training in broadcast journalism or communications preferred.
- Flexibility in schedule.
