The Metallurgy Engineer will be responsible for material selection, metallurgical analysis, and testing activities to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of materials and equipment used in the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.
Job ResponsibilitiesPerform material selection and metallurgical evaluation for equipment and components.
Conduct material testing and failure analysis to identify defects and root causes.
Review material specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Evaluate corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of materials used in operations.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on testing results.
Support inspection and engineering teams in material integrity and reliability assessments.
Ensure materials used in projects meet quality and safety standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in metallurgy or material engineering within the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.
Strong knowledge of material selection, metallurgical testing, and failure analysis.
Experience in material inspection and testing procedures.
Good analytical, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Skills Required
