Job title: Metal Control Coordinator
Location: West Whiteland, PA
At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Metal Control Coordinator, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history. Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life‑saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.
The role:
Oversee the customer refining stream, managing the receipt, inspection and tracking of refining materials
Coordinate daily priorities with production and supply chain to ensure efficient workflow and working capital management
Track refining lot progress and communicate status, issues and timelines to stakeholders
Ensure accurate documentation, weighing and recording of all metal transactions
Prepare and manage materials and documentation for external processing
Support metal control activities including inventory movements, cycle counts and loss/gain investigations
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to inventory or shipping processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across production, logistics and commercial teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems such as MRP platforms
Good problem solving, prioritization and time management skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality and safety standards
