To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a MES Support IT Engineer located in Zalaegerszeg.

Reporting to the Information Technology Manager, the MES Support IT Engineer role involves the responsibility for analyzing complex business problems to solve them by making Flex’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) more efficient. Additionally, they provide IT engineering expertise in supporting activities such as requirements gathering, specifying, implementing as well as testing the development of MES.

What a typical day looks like:

• Identify opportunities that can improve the efficiency of IT and Business processes (e.g. warehouse management and material tracking) in a serial production or assembly environment
• Implement IT part of production systems, adapting to local environment and develop missing modules, interfaces, reports
• Develop functional and technical specifications for the solutions
• Support of IT systems, ensuring their steady operation
• Work together with other departments (QA, Production, Warehouse) in request /problem handling, solution development and deployment
• Participate in meetings with the relevant team to discuss progress and issues to be resolved, and report status
• Support Manufacturing on the efficient use of MES: provide technical input to help troubleshoot issues during MES usage and support end-users in MES navigation, EBR (Electronic Batch Record) execution and general system utilization to ensure users become self-sufficient
• Investigate, resolve or report application functionality related issues and provide support and troubleshooting

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Integrated Manufacturing disciplines ( Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!)
• Comprehensive hands on experience in MS SQL database
• Communication level of English and Hungarian languages
• Experience with any additional programming language(s) is a plus
• The ability to work in a team efficiently
• Good problem-solving skills and result driven approach to work   
• Analytical, structured thinking, system and process focused approach
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
