MES Engineer

Job Description

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements for MES. This includes analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions.
• Architect, implement and integrate solutions to ensure they meet identified requirements and align with business objectives. This may involve designing MES configurations, integrating with other systems (such as ERP, automations) and developing custom functionalities to support manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for SAP ME master data definition and implementation, change management tracking and governance.
• Lead System Validation to ensure the system functions correctly and meets compliance requirements. Create test plans, develop manuals, conduct test reviews, risk assessments and generate relevant reports for proper documentation and traceability.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical team, facilitating clear communication and ensuring alignment of requirements and solutions.
• Involved in managing MES implementation project, ensuring it stays on schedule to achieve business goal.
• Establish best practices for MES usage and prepare system related reports.
• Analyze MES data to identify trends, performances and areas for further improvements.
• Collaborate with global team to ensure alignment on both MES tactical and strategic approach.
• Provide training and support to users on the MES system.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to MES system.
• Key person to participate in enterprise software projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering/Information Systems with specialization in Operation, with at least 6 years of experience in SAP ERP, MES, MII etc.
• Knowledge in manufacturing, planning and operation processes, including master data management (BOM, routing etc.) and system configuration.
• Hands-on experience in programming, database, software development (C#, MSSQL, .NET, API, etc.) with proficiency in using Jira, Agile PLM and SAP ChaRM.
• Demonstrated track records in system integration to MES, MES use case development and solutions implementation.
• Practical experience in computerized system validation within the framework of ISO13485 will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Industry 4.0 solutions and technology will be added advantage.
• Self-starter and proven track record in managing and implementing complex projects. Demonstrates exceptional leadership and creativity, consistently achieving goals within tight schedules.
• Strong problem-solving, logics and creative thinking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong team player, with excellent collaboration, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and multitask within an interrupt driven environment.
• Ability to keep up with latest techniques and technologies as they develop.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
