MES Business Analyst

At Adient, we are proud to offer hybrid working to our employees, which involves being able to work remotely for up to 3 days per week based on the agreement within specific department.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Analyze plant processes and translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
- Support MES/KAPP logic including workflows, traceability, PLC-based signals, and event sequencing.
- Coordinate with system integrators, KAPP Central Team, and plant stakeholders to ensure aligned and efficient deliveries.
- Prepare and execute UAT, validate functional behavior, and support multi-plant deployments.
- Provide Level-2 functional support and contribute to continuous improvement.
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
- Experience with MES systems in automotive or JIT/JIS environments.
- Understanding of PLC integration, machine/station logic, and shopfloor execution processes.
- Ability to document requirements, create functional specifications, and manage test scenarios.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with business, IT, and external integrators.
- Preferred: experience with KAPP, multi-plant MES rollouts, or lean/JIT operations.
Preferred MES platform experience
Experience with one or more of the following MES vendors is highly valuable and transferable:
- Siemens Opcenter / Camstar
- Rockwell FactoryTalk / Plex MES
- MPDV HYDRA / HYDRA X
- Dassault DELMIA / Apriso
- Critical Manufacturing MES
- GE Vernova Proficy Smart Factory MES
- Schneider / AVEVA MES
