Provides consultative project, program management, and change execution support for mergers, acquisitions, integrations, restructuring efforts, and other business initiatives. Partners to plan, coordinate, and execute workstreams that support business continuity, workforce transition, and strong employee experience. Manages bodies of work with independence, applying judgment to solve problems, and translating direction into actionable plans, milestones, and deliverables. Supports scalable mergers and acquisitions frameworks, playbooks, governance mechanisms, and reporting that strengthen readiness for both large-scale transactions and smaller acquisitions. EDUCATION:
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree of diploma
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Organization Development, or related field

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Experience in human resources, program management, mergers and acquisitions, integration, restructuring, transformation, organization change, or related business initiatives.
- Experience supporting or managing cross-functional programs, transaction workstreams, or integration initiatives in a large, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated ability to apply structured frameworks, governance routines, standards, and implementation tools to support consistent HR M&A execution.
- Experience preparing leadership-ready materials, governance structures, portfolio reporting, project plans, dashboards, and implementation tools.
- Working knowledge of HR due diligence, Day 1 readiness, post-close integration, and related transaction lifecycle activities.
- Knowledge of HR workstreams impacted by transactions or restructuring, including organization design, talent, compensation, benefits, employee relations, communications, HRIS, payroll, policy, and process alignment.
- Ability to analyze workforce, operational, and project information to identify risks, dependencies, options, and practical recommendations.
- Consultative skills to partner with HR centers of expertise, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to clarify needs, align solutions, and support consistent execution. Ability to apply lessons learned and continuous improvement practices to strengthen repeatable tools, templates, and playbooks over time.

Pay Range is $119,995.20 to $179,982.40 / annual salary. Sacramento Pay Range is $104,332.80 to $156,499.20 / annual salary.The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
