We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Wise team at Mercer. This role will be based in Boston, or wherever a Mercer office is located in the U.S. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The team is comprised of operations, implementation and compliance personnel, where Mercer is the fully delegated fiduciary for clients’ corporate 401(k) plans. The team ranges in tenure on the team of 3-8 years and industry experience of 5-25 years. You will report to the Director of Operations & Implementation and be responsible for day-to-day contact with clients in your select book of business.
We will count on you to:
Manage daily client inquires including ensuring payrolls are processed and funded timely
Provide operational support and efficiencies to client implementations and client service as needed, including adhering to procedures
Review opportunities to improve and make more efficient procedures as possible
Research and resolve inquires and issues within the designated Mercer standards
Assist clients reviewing communications and legal notices
Work with the clients in the administration of the plans annual testing and reporting, including the form 5500
Some MS Office products will be used on a regular basis, including Excel, Word and Power Point
What you need to have:
A minimum of two years of experience in 401(k) administration and a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance OR
A minimum of five years of experience in 401(k) administration in operations or call center
Good communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
