We work closely with our Product Management and Merchandising teammates, Design and Tech Development, Planning, and Merchandising teams to manage the product creation cycle.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Product Line Manager II to join the Global Core Footwear Product Team. An ideal PLM II is a collaborative teammate with a history of excellence and phenomenal attention to detail. You will need strong organizational skills, a drive to learn and the ability to adapt quickly. A passion for serving our consumers is a must! We are looking for someone who will partner effectively with diverse teams and can support our team by creatively solving problems and pushing the consumer forward. 

What you bring...

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.

  • 2 years of related experience in a product-related role, preferably Footwear

  • Ability to manage multiple product creation timelines

  • Passion for product, sneaker culture, and fashion trends

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines 

  • Strong work ethic; takes the initiative and is proactive 

  • A sense of curiosity and an eagerness to learn 

  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to drive consensus

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations (efficient in Keynote, Miro, PPT, etc.) 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The PLM II will be responsible for helping manage the Core Sportswear product line in partnership with the Senior Product Manager. 

As our PLM II, you will be the voice of the consumer, keeping a pulse on relevant trends with an emphasis on sport and streetwear culture through the lens of footwear. You will be responsible for leading focus groups, analyzing the marketplace trends and bringing insights back to the product teams to inspire the next new idea! You will work on footwear designed to deliver exceptional price-value and grow the business. 

The Product Line Manager II will work with Product Management and a cross-functional team (Merchandising, Product and Material Design, Color Design, Engineering, Material and Technical Development) on the footwear creation process from brief to final product approval.

You will collaborate with the Merchandising team to create impactful presentations to effectively hand over the line to our Geo partners and Accounts.

You will manage the product creation workflow through data management and effective collaboration across cross-functional triad partners. You will be delivering on key dates and holding yourself accountable to be a great teammate. Data accuracy in key documents is critical. You will be responsible for helping develop and maintain Visual Line Plans, Sales Tools, Tech Sheets and Product Decks.

Clear and accurate communication and data management is critical for this role, including owning communicating changes to the triad and key partners. You will be responsible for sample organization and tracking. 

In addition, you will learn how to analyze various business metrics to help you plan and manage the line with the Senior Manager. You will work with the category information analyst to confirm the accuracy of the information in the MMX system (i.e., retail price, naming, targeted wholesale prices, etc.). You will help manage the three-year line plan.

A typical day/week includes ensuring the accuracy of the information in key systems, sample management, participating in and conducting meetings, and providing clear communication to guide cross-functional teams thru critical checkpoints.
