About Mission Mortgage

Mission Mortgage is a premier residential lending organization committed to empowering individuals, families, and investors through tailored home financing and capital strategies. Operating as an essential lending pillar inside an integrated real estate advisory network, Mission Mortgage goes beyond issuing mortgages; we structure intelligent financing models that protect home equity, optimize purchasing power, and foster long-term wealth creation.

Job Description

The Role Vision: From Loan Originator to Capital & Equity Strategist

The MG Lending Advisor does not view mortgage lending as a standalone paperwork process. You are an essential financial partner embedded within a multi-pillar advisory team working alongside real estate and insurance specialists. You guide clients before, during, and long after a loan closes, ensuring their home financing aligns with their broader financial trajectory.

Full Responsibilities

  • Capital & Purchase Modeling: Deliver multi-option pre-approval packages, buyer purchasing models, and seller net sheets within 24 hours of client consultation.

  • Integrated Advisory Participation: Co-lead client strategy sessions alongside MG Home Advisors and Town & Country Insurance Advisors to present unified real estate, loan, and risk plans.

  • Loan Origination & Structuring: Manage loan pipelines from pre-approval through underwriting and settlement, maintaining transparent communication with clients and agents.

  • Annual Mortgage Health Reviews: Re-engage closed clients annually to evaluate refinancing opportunities, debt consolidation, rate optimization, and cash-out equity strategies.

  • Buyer & Seller Education: Conduct financing workshops and produce educational material on purchasing power, interest rate positioning, and home equity preservation.

System Adoption, Adaptability & Technical Competencies

  • System Adaptability: High adaptability to master and execute within current enterprise lending software, CRM platforms, and automated workflow intake structures.

  • Tech Stack Competencies: Proficiency with digital LOS (Loan Origination Systems), integrated CRM pipelines (Lofty/internal lead management engines), Microsoft Forms intake branching, and digital presentation tools.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain precise client records and pipeline status tracking to adhere strictly to 24-hour SLA execution targets.

What We Do

The Menkiti Group is an integrated real estate services company dedicated to enhancing the fabric of life in America’s urban neighborhoods through the strategic development, management, and sale of residential and commercial property. A minority-owned Certified Business Enterprise headquartered in the District of Columbia, The Menkiti Group was founded in 2004 with a mission to transform lives, careers, and communities through real estate. The Menkiti Group’s approach to urban neighborhood transformation is centered upon full service residential and commercial development, residential sales, and commercial sales. We build and sell high-quality housing and invest in commercial properties along emerging neighborhood corridors. We transform abandoned and underutilized properties into exciting and affordable homes and workspaces. Our projects range from single-family residential renovations and main street storefront restorations to large-scale mixed-use transit-oriented developments. The Menkiti Group has established a reputation for its creative and productive deployment of capital and has cultivated valuable relationships across economic and cultural divides that have historically hindered the development of urban neighborhoods. The Menkiti Group family of companies also includes Keller Williams Capital Properties, a top three, fast-growing real estate brokerage in the Washington Metropolitan Area, with more than $2.23 billion in 2017 sales, by nearly 1,000 agents across seven offices. In 2017, Keller Williams Capital Properties ranked as a Washington Post Top Workplace, and was ranked in the ICIC Inner City 100 companies list for a notable 8 times.
