Contribute to the commercial Management of a segment of the Memory Business. Manage annual Budget, Strategy & Execution.
Manage marketing activities within the assigned product range and customer base. Identify major trends and needs of the Memory application markets. Develop, implement and direct effective product marketing strategies to maintain existing markets, generate new markets and secure long-term leadership in achieved markets.

Role and Responsibilities

Key accountabilities:
  • Contribute to Annual Budget setting with a focus on day to day biz Execution

  • Develop and control business plan and MBO guidelines by product, channel, application and area in arrangement with those concerned

  • Sales result analysis and price definition aligned to global direction

  • Set up and deliver sales statistics and presentations

  • Provide marketing support to sales force for product, availability and price

  • Market and business development within the European MEMORY markets

  • Research of MEMORY markets / opportunities for defined applications and competitors’ analysis within Europe

  • Plan, design and carry out product promotion campaigns

  • Effective and efficient launch of present and future products into existing and emerging businesses / markets

  • Manage MEMORY supply chain to reliably supply customer needs and meet targets

  • Ensure an effective and efficient stock management

  • Report European MEMORY application trends and requirements to all people concerned within DSE and DSK

Key stakeholders:

  • DSE MEMORY Marketing and Sales team

  • DSE Technical marketing and QA team

  • DSK Sales Team

  • Major European OEM Customers & Distributors

Dimensions:

>$500M Revenue Management

Qualifications required:
  • Bachelor, Master, MBA or equivalent in electronics and/or economics preferably with a major in marketing

Experience:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience within product marketing and/or technical marketing organizations ideally in the semiconductor area

  • Experience of memory products (DRAM, FLASH) of advantage

Skills/attributes:

Personal:

  • Good presentation skills to convincingly present products, technologies and concepts both internally and to customers

  • Good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Goal orientation and strong personal initiative & motivation

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

  • Strong Excel Ability and effectiveness to communicate by email, F2F & telephone

  • Fluent English, both Spoken & Written

  • Ability to handle & solve conflicts and to drive things forward

Product Marketing:

  • Good knowledge of the MEMORY markets (Computing, Consumer/IND, Mobile)

  • Extensive marketing thinking from Commercial, Technical & Strategic perspectives

Analytical Thinking:

  • Excellent analytical skills to identify key product and customer trends

  • Ability to Analyse EMEA Markets and Competitor activity/trends/strengths
