The Member Services Front Desk team is at the heart of our operations, playing a vital role in creating a positive, engaging, and welcoming experience for all. As the first point of connection, this team exemplifies the values and vision of the YMCA of Orange County, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to service, community, and inclusion.
Purpose and Impact:
- Practice Intentionality:
- Serve as the primary contact, creating a warm and professional environment for all members. Handle all inquiries, payments, and concerns with care.
- Drive Community Growth:
- Actively engage with current and prospective members through facility tours and interviews to promote memberships and programs. Proactively generate new prospects through consistent follow-up, tracking, and collaboration with program teams
- Exemplify Core Values:
- Uphold Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility while handling check-ins, cash management, and maintaining an organized lobby and workspace.
- Data Management & Program Support:
- Perform essential clerical tasks, manage data entry/retrieval, communicate program details, and assist with registrations. Be proactive with knowledge of all program information and changes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent required
- 1 - 3 years' experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of customer service, excellent communication skills, and PC ability required.
- Certifications:
- First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).

Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or related field
